I’ve found this website through LinkedIn. As English was not my native language and I was going to apply for jobs in the UK, I was eager to find a professional resume consultant. So I went to this site, which design is definitely not the best I’ve ever seen. However, the site guarantees convinced me that I wouldn’t lose anything as the site owner and writer promised to refund if the resume wouldn’t satisfy me completely.

Prices

All prices on the site are quite affordable and vary from 140 to 199GBP depending on the package. The cheapest one includes CV and a cover letter; the most expensive packages are “all included” ones for executives. I needed a simply resume and a cover letter and thought that 140 GBP wasn’t a big price for that.

Order Process

As the site didn’t advice about the process, I started with paying through PayPal using the payment button on the page with prices. Then I went to the questionnaire – I had an old resume, but it was so poorly organized that I decided to start from scratch. The questionnaire was quite long by the way, and it took me over an hour to complete all fields. As I sent it in the evening, the writer answered me the next day and said that he received my information and would provide me with a resume within 5-6 business days.

The website is not a writing company and belongs to a single writer (or the site says so). That’s why there isn’t traditional support. However, you can get in touch with the writer personally using the email or phone number provided at the bottom of the site. I didn’t have a necessity for that, though as the writer said that the information I provided would be enough to write a resume for me.

Conclusion

I got my resume in 5 days. I liked the language and the template of my resume, but the writer seemed to be not very confident in using the specific IT terms. I asked him to correct some mistakes; however, he didn’t correct everything so I had to make further corrections on my own. As for cover letter, it seemed too formal for me. I had to correct that too to make it sound more personal and represent the language I usually speak. To sum things up, the service is okay but because of the necessity to correct things on my own I can’t give it high rating.
